Amanda & Phil’s wedding was another new venue for me. They had a lovely, relaxed wedding at The Folly at the Farmhouse, Mackworth.

They had a lovely summer’s day for their wedding, and possibly some of the best evening light I’ve seen. I had to get the timings just right to capture these two in that golden hour light! Would you believe that Amanda & Phil told me how awkward and ‘cringe’ they were in front of a camera!? Such a beautiful couple, and hopefully I made them lovely and relaxed for their couple’s photos!

It was a lovely intimate and relaxed wedding day with Rob Lea providing the perfect background tunes to their summer gathering. Amanda and Phil kicked off the evening with a very rare event; a ‘choreographed’ first dance routine. They absolutely smashed it! Big thanks to Paige and everyone at the venue - all so lovely and helpful. Getting the right team of suppliers really does help your wedding day go smoothly!
