Hi, I’m Shaun.

This is the part where I have to introduce myself, but your wedding day is absolutely not about me!

I’m there to quietly capture your day as it unfolds, not to influence events. The best thing people say to me is always ‘We barely noticed you were there - in a good way’.

You won’t find anything too gimmicky, groundbreaking or ‘trendy’ here. I just want to get nice, relaxed, beautiful images of you and all your guests on your wedding day.

My Approach

Your wedding day isn’t about your photographer. I’m not there to perform, but to capture you, your guests, and everything that actually matters. I’ve been told I’m a ‘calming presence’, which on the chaos of a wedding day, can only be a good thing, right? (I don’t like to brag, but I did win the ‘most relaxed person’ in 6th form 2002! Still counts).

Don’t get me wrong, you’ll still want a few group shots with everyone looking vaguely organised, and couple’s photos need some direction at least.. But the rest of your day should be just for the fun of it, not for the photos. No staging. No forcing. No “do that again for the camera”.

Just real moments, real reactions, and everything that actually feels like your day. And that’s the main skill I’ve developed over the years… being there and noticing the bits that matter most.

‘Selling yourself’ is difficult. I’m much happier at weddings, taking photos, rather than talking about myself. So, I got my past couples to let you know how it felt to have me at their wedding…
