Hi, I’m Shaun.

This is the part where I should introduce myself, but your wedding day is absolutely not about me!

I’d rather give people space to enjoy their day naturally, without feeling crowded, rushed or staged in any way. The photos benefit from that.

You won’t find anything too gimmicky, groundbreaking or ‘trendy’ here. I just want to get nice, relaxed, beautiful images of you and all your guests on your wedding day.

I don't photograph a particular type of couple; I photograph people. Whoever you are, however you look, and whoever you love, you're welcome here.

What’s it like to have me at your wedding? Choosing the right photographer for your day is so much more than just images!

My Approach

Your wedding day isn’t about your photographer. I’m not there to perform, or be the centre of attention. I’ve actually been told I’m a ‘calming presence’, which on the chaos of a wedding day, can only be a good thing, right?

(I don’t like to brag, but I did win the ‘most relaxed person’ in 6th form 2002! Still counts).

Don’t get me wrong, you’ll still want a few group shots with everyone looking vaguely organised, and I’ll give you some direction for a few couples photos… But the rest of your day should be just for the fun of it, not for the photos. No staging, or forcing moments, and no “do that again for the camera”.

I like things to be real; real moments and reactions, and photos that feel like your wedding day. Being there and just noticing things is the most important skill I’ve picked up along the way.

Your wedding day comes first, and the photos will follow.

‘Selling yourself’ is difficult. I’m much happier being at weddings taking photos, than I am talking about myself. So, I asked my past couples to let you know how it felt to have me at their wedding…
