What is an Outdoor Shoot?

An ‘outdoor shoot’ is basically one of my typical family / couple / pregnancy / pre-wedding shoots. Around an hour at an outdoor location to get some great photos of you and your family!

How will it work?

I’m not an ‘in your face’ photographer and I don’t like much posing - so we generally just have a little walk and a chat, whilst I capture some natural moments of you.

When / where would the shoot be?

Any outdoor locations really - I’m a sucker for anywhere with plenty of greenery and trees. The colours of Autumn particularly lend themselves to wooded areas! I can choose somewhere local, or you may have somewhere significant in mind - it’s entirely up to you. I’m based in Sheffield, and cover anywhere in Sheffield and surrounding areas.

Regarding time; I find early mornings / late evenings to be the best for light - but whatever suits your schedule is great with me!

How long will it last?

Typically up to an hour. That’s always plenty of time to get a variety of images for you, and it doesn’t take up your whole day. But it’s not timed - I won’t be ending the shoot as soon as 60 minutes has passed!

What do we need to bring?

Just yourselves really. Wear some clothes that you’ll want to look back at yourself wearing in years to come. If it’s a family shoot with small children, it might be a good idea to bring a blanket to sit/lay on the floor. Also bring whatever you need to keep your children fed/entertained!

How do we receive the images?

You’ll get roughly 50-100 images digitally from an hour long shoot. You’ll receive a link to an online gallery, where you can view and download them all in high resolution. You are then free to use these however you wish (printing, sharing, online etc). You’ll also receive a handy little mobile app with the highlights, to keep on your mobile device.
