The Wedding Industry Awards 2025 - Wedding Photographer of the Year. Highly Commended in the Yorkshire and North East Region

So, I had a nice little email last night. I’ve been awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ at The Wedding Industry Awards for the Yorkshire and North East region 2025. I wish I could have been at the event, but after back to back weekend weddings and a potential 5 hour round trip, it just wasn’t feasible. The Yorkshire and North East region covers quite a large area, so the awards events are always quite a distance away!

I don’t chase awards, but I do enter TWIA as it’s based on couples’ votes and feedback, which I get to see once the process is all over. I find it so useful and rewarding to see the comments from my couples, and that alone is worth the entry.

Not quite a regional winner, but it’s nice to be commended by industry experts, and thought so highly of by my previous wedding couples!
